This week’s photo challenge regards Weight(less) and I immediately thought of my extreme sports segment included in A Wandering Memory blog. What better that examples of skydiving, bungee jumping, skiing or even diving. Then I thought I didn’t want to repeat myself…
Therefore my photo entry this week is a leap of faith, literally a leap off the summit of Victoria Falls and into a pool that drains into the free flowing falls itself.
What a rush! Weightless for less than a second… It felt like forever – Falling, Falling Falling…
The fear that if this jump was mistimed in any way – that was it – the largest waterfalls in Africa were literally less than a metre away. In those few milliseconds, my mind cleared… I felt free
