As 2016 comes to a close, I wanted our last piece to share with you a number of other truly inspirational bloggers who have continued to amaze us in 2016. We emplore you to viist their sites and interact if you find them inspirational.
Out an’ About – Run by a truly lovely Australian lady called Miriam who finds joy and wonder in not only her travels but everyday family life. As a mother, a wife, a traveler, and adventure enthusiast, Miriam has a vast, eclectic range of experiences. As a published writer she continues to deliver a huge amount of inspiration to us in every written word. Connecting with such a wonderful, talented writer and fellow traveler has been a huge inspiration.
Thirdeyemom – In our first few weeks of setting up A Wandering Memory, Nicole from ‘Thirdeyemom’ reached out on a post about the Greyhound bus. Ever since she has been a huge inspiration to us. Her blog is incredible, with an amalgamation of visits to over 40 countries, from her family home in Minnesota. Nicole is again a published writer, which is a dream of ours, and her travel imagery is simply divine. What really inspired us with Nicole is her commitment to social wellbeing, everything from culture, poverty and charity to specific child or UN projects. It is a delight to have her as a follower of A Wandering Memory, and we draw strength and inspiration from her posts.
Travelling the World Solo – Run by an Australian lady called Ellen, this blog encompasses the true meaning of wanderlust. Ellen travels everywhere and anywhere by herself and her posts are honest, realistic, full of enthusiasm and exquisitely versed. Her recent trip to Greenland was beyond inspiring, it was pure unadulterated wanderlust. She is an incredible writer and so honest – it’s truly a pleasure to read and follow her adventures.

Nature has no boss – Run by fellow blogger Michael Bizeau, ‘nature has no boss’ is a sensational dedicated photography blog. As many of you know our passion for photography is engrained in the majority of our posts. Mike’s photography is outstanding, and mainly concentrates on the natural world. He fills us with the passion of capturing the sublime and inspires us makes me want to become a better photographer and inspires me with every post.
Nomadruss – Russ Taylor photography is again mind-blowing, as a Wilderness guide and cultural enthusiast he has visited and lived in many places we only dream of. Again another published writer and photographer his imagery of the natural world is simply outstanding. We could only wish to one day have even a snippet of the skill he possesses and shares on a his blog.

Of course there are so many talented blogs we follow and really enjoy reading, but this year these five have really stood out in out as inspiration leaders in our never-ending lust for travel and photography.
It is the talent of the wordpress community that inspires us on a daily basis, from travel to photography, wildlife to stories, thoughts and perspectives. The community has been so engaging and motivational and we are so happy to be a part of it.
We thank all the bloggers we have interacted with, that continue to follow and support A Wandering Memory over the last 2 years .Thank you for inspiring us and we hope continue to aid and inspire you.

Take your time and enjoy your little boy. What a wonderful treasure! You can always keep your ideas scribbled down and then start really focusing on them when you have a bit more time. He will be into napping longer soon! But yes parenting does take a lot and lot of time, especially for an infant. Even now I’m so busy!

Very much looking forward to all of the adventures. 2.5weeks now but have to go back to work soon so that’s next challenge. Will be a challenge but we are a great team and our family is strong! Thank you for the kind words as always

Also, you can always start submitting posts to other blogs as well and syndicating them. It is pretty easy to submit blog posts to Huffington Post and others. A great way to get work you’ve already created published on another avenue.

Reblogged this on Out an' About and commented:
When I began blogging less than two years ago I never dreamed it would open up such a world of friendship, support and common wonder lusting. Late last year, at the end of a very long and average 2016, David from A Wandering Memory cast me amongst his top five travel blogs which both thrilled and humbled me no end. There are so many amazing and inspiring bloggers out there. Do check out his blog for some stunning travel destinations as well as the other talented writers and photographers featured there.
Happy traveling and happy blogging everyone as we continue this crazy journey of life together. You all inspire me.

I know what you mean. The more engagement you have between bloggers, the closer friends you become. I am in Australia with a blogging friend I met almost 5 years ago now. We have had two holidays together, and had never met before blogging. I live in CA and she is from Australia. 🙂 That is engagement to the max, I think! 🙂

Oh that’s amazing to hear. I have befriended a number of bloggers but have yet to meet any. Miriam who is included in this post has become a huge influence and inspirational person in my blogging world. Where is ca are you based?

I’m in Central CA, southeast of Fresno about an hour. I’m close to Sequoia National Park.

Ooh very nice. We are from London but have travelled extensively as I am sure you are aware. 63 countries so far and have travelled the length and breadth of ca a number of times. It’s a beautiful state. My fav is probably Yosemite and the redwoods a little further north. How are you enjoying Australia?

Yosemite is beautiful, and surprisingly I don’t get there very often. Australia is putting on it’s best weather. No matter where we have gone, the hot or cold, windy or wet has disappeared and rolled out the red carpet of perfect weather for our travels. It couldn’t be better! 🙂
